David Bellairian Launches Freeframe, a One-Search Tool for Free Legal Streaming

I spend most of my time underwriting deals at Glencore Associates and building marketing systems at AIDiscover, but every so often I build something just because it's useful. Freeframe is one of those projects, and I'm putting it out publicly today.

The problem it solves

Tubi, Pluto TV, Kanopy, and a handful of other ad-supported services now carry a genuinely good catalog of free, legal movies and shows. The catch is that nobody wants to open four apps and search four times to find out where a specific title actually lives. Freeframe fixes that by searching all of them from one box: type in a title, a director, an actor, a year, or even an award ("Tarantino," "Oscar," "007"), and it tells you where to watch it for free right now.

What's actually in it

Freeframe is free to use and doesn't require an account. Beyond the core search, it has a "Tonight" page for a quick pick, a "Popular & new" section, browsing by platform, curated collections built around things like award winners or franchise marathons, a watchlist, and a ratings system that sharpens its recommendations over time. Library-card services like Hoopla are noted too, for people willing to do one extra step for an even bigger, ad-free catalog. Because free catalogs rotate as licensing deals change, Freeframe keeps itself current instead of pointing you to a title that disappeared last month — public domain films are the one category that's permanent.

Why I built it

This isn't a Glencore product or an AIDiscover client project. It's closer to the instinct behind both of those businesses: find a place where the obvious tools are more fragmented than they need to be, and build the simpler version. AIDiscover's whole premise is that good technology and good marketing should make things easier to find, not harder, and Freeframe is that idea applied to something as ordinary as deciding what to watch tonight. It's the same reason I like writing about underpriced value in real estate or markets — the opportunity is usually sitting in plain sight, just poorly organized.

Try it

Freeframe is live now at freeframetv.netlify.app. No login, no subscription, no catch — just search, find it, watch it.
